Transparent, rigorous, and real-estate-specific. Every tool in our directory goes through a 6-step verification process before publication — and gets re-verified monthly.
No vendor pays for placement. No tool gets a free pass. Here's how we separate signal from noise.
We continuously monitor the real estate technology landscape for new and updated AI tools through:
Tools must meet baseline criteria to enter our verification pipeline:
Tools that pass screening are mapped to our 9 real estate-specific categories based on primary workflow value.
For tools offering trials, demos, or freemium tiers, we conduct hands-on evaluation:
Tools without accessible trials are evaluated via demo videos, documentation, and third-party reviews.
We aggregate and analyze reviews from multiple independent sources:
We weight recent reviews (last 12 months) more heavily and flag review patterns (fake reviews, review bombing).
Every vendor claim is verified against primary sources:
Verified tools are published with complete profiles. Then the cycle continues:
Tools with stale data (90+ days unverified) are flagged and re-prioritized for review.
Each tool receives a weighted score across 5 dimensions (not displayed publicly, used for internal ranking).
Breadth and depth of features for the stated use case. Does it solve the core problem completely or require workarounds?
How well the tool integrates into actual agent/broker workflows. MLS compatibility, CRM integration, team collaboration features.
Uptime, support responsiveness, documentation quality, onboarding assistance, and vendor stability.
Aggregated third-party ratings, sentiment analysis, and churn indicators from review platforms.
Frequency of meaningful updates, AI model improvements, and responsiveness to user feedback.
Transparency about our rating methodology — no black boxes, no hidden algorithms.
Our displayed ratings are a weighted synthesis of verified third-party review platforms, not a single source:
We weight recent reviews (last 12 months) 3x higher than older reviews. We flag and exclude suspected fake reviews, review bombing, or incentivized reviews.
There are no free public APIs for G2, Capterra, or TrustRadius ratings. Any site claiming "live" ratings from these sources is either scraping (violates ToS) or using paid enterprise APIs.
Instead, we update ratings monthly during our verification cycle — the same time we verify pricing, features, and claims. Each tool page shows a "Last verified" date so you know exactly how fresh the rating is.
This approach means our ratings may lag 1–30 days behind review platforms, but they are:
The star rating (0–5) reflects aggregated user satisfaction from verified real estate professionals, not our editorial opinion. Our editorial assessment is separate (see Scoring Criteria above).
We also display review count so you can gauge confidence — a 4.8 from 500 reviews is more reliable than a 5.0 from 3 reviews.
We do link to vendor profiles on those platforms from each tool page. But raw platform ratings have problems:
Our synthesized rating normalizes across sources, filters for real estate relevance, and applies consistent weighting — saving you from checking 5+ sites per tool.
No pay-for-placement: Vendors cannot pay for better rankings, featured positions, or higher ratings.
No affiliate bias: We may earn referral fees from some vendors, but this never influences rankings or reviews. All tools are evaluated by the same criteria.
No vendor review: Vendors do not preview, edit, or approve content before publication.
